Family update

Dear Friends and Family,

It is time for an update from the Crosscombes! We do apologize for being so out of touch. When I took Tony for his 2 month check up I thought it was time to give an update since I believe the last one was a birth announcement. At the moment Coz is on an airplane flying to Turkey. He should arrive there tonight. Coz will be traveling around Turkey and Romania taking a class with Ray Bakke studying the Orthodox Church. Please pray for his time there and a safe return on the 31st of October.

Melanie recently wrote a little book about each family member. When it came to Tony’s page she wrote, “Tony is the youngest in our family and he was a surprise”. I thought that was cute. God has blessed us so much with this surprise. Tony is a very compliant, happy boy. He is very loved by his sisters. The novelty of having a baby in the house hasn’t worn off yet, they still argue over holding him. In case you missed the birth announcement… Tony David Luis Crosscombe was born on August 2nd weighing 8 pds 7oz. He is now in the 90th percentile for height and weight and weighed 13.11 pounds at his 2 month checkup. He is a big boy and we do all enjoy watching him grow and change.

Saiyeh is in 5th grade now. She and a group of students performed a dance in the annual Puerto Rican Parade last month. They came in 1st place. She loves taking part in this every year. She is always dancing, singing or playing the piano. Saiyeh is also taking a drawing class at Ayuda Community Center.
Melanie is in 3rd grade this year. She is excelling in Spanish and enjoys reading. Mel continues to train her dog, Rajah, 2 -3 times a week with her dad. She is still enjoying this and growing in her knowledge of this sport.

Emma recently turned 6 and had a polar bear and horse party. She loves both of these animals. She is now in 1st grade. This year Hostos had a float at the Puerto Rican Parade and Emma was chosen to be the queen of the 1st grade class. She loved dressing up and taking part in this. Emma continues to be full of energy and is playing soccer at the local recreation center.
The other family event we recently had was having Coz’s sister and family come to stay with us. They were here for just under 3 weeks. We loved spending time with them and taking them to Niagra Falls, my family’s house, New York, the zoo…. We do miss them and wish we lived closer together.

So that is it in a nutshell. When Coz returns from Turkey he will send out a ministry update. Thanks for your prayers and support. We are so blessed and give God praise for His never ending love and faithfulness!

I absolutely loved scrolling through the many pictures from your very busy fall!! Please tell Coz's mum I said hello! I have seen here in a long time, but she looks as graceful as when I last saw her. Well, what can I say about little Tony!? He is the cutest, chubbiest, happiest little boy! He is so loved, I can tell. Loved the photos of the girls sleeping with him and their feet comparisons!! Cute!! Love and miss you all so much! ~Deanna~

Thanks for the update. Can't wait to catch up properly sometime. Tony is about the same size as Solomon (who is tiny!!! - but happy).

Love to you all - please say hi to the wonderful wonderful girls.
